This review is more regarding VMC customer service than the product itself. I received a Starter One Way Drive Clutch Gear Assembly which consists of three distinct parts: the drive gear, the overrun clutch "wheel", and the sprag clutch / bearing. It arrived swiftly, before the estimated arrival date. I installed it all the next day, and the scooter started right up. Not long after, however, it stopped running and exhibited symptoms of a failed sprag clutch bearing. Disassembling the parts, I found the sprag bearing had failed due an easily-missed defect in the cage housing. I emailed VMC explaining the situation and asked if just a new bearing could be provided. Without hesitation, the answer was "yes" with an unnecessary apology for my inconvenience. The new part arrived a couple days later, is installed, and working great. Kudos for customer satisfaction being a priority!
