Headlight for Tao Tao Thunder 50 and Blade 50 Scooter
This replacement headlight fits several models of Chinese scooters including the Tao Tao Thunder 50 scooter. Use the detail pictures and measurements to best match your light.
Headlight details:
- 4-wire male plug
- V or wedge shaped
- 3 mounting tabs on the top
- 2 mounting tabs on the front
- 1 mounting tab on each side
- Bulbs are included
- Wire colors may vary

On the left side the blue wire attaches to the center of the bulb. The green wire attaches to the side. On the right side the white wire attaches to the center of the bulb and the green wire attaches on the side. Both the left and right sides also have a brown and green wire feeding the running light.

United StatesBright light but blew the high beam in an instant which is why I bought this part to begin with because my original high beam went out didn’t think anywhere around here sold the exact blub. My wires were fine everything was fine but it still blew the blub. Bought a fsl h1 12v55w from my local car repair auto zone and it is currently working in it but the original was 35watt not 55watt so I don’t know what could have made it blow

Tbh, this is the third light I bought since 2020 and I can not figure out why the bulbs keep blowing leaving the lense smoke damaged beyond repair. When one of those led lights go out, it almost created a fire and had I not noticed right away, it surely would have. This last one seems to be working fine, let's just hope it stays that way. 8/29/24
