Version 9
This is the OEM engine used on Tao Tao go-karts. It has two sets of bushings on the top that can be used for mounting. The bushing set over the gear box are 8mm inside diameter. The bushing set over the fan area is 10mm inside diameter.

- 149cc 4-stroke long case
- EPA certified
- Automatic with reverse
- Set up for cable gear shift
- Adjustable shift linkage has 6mm ID bushing
- CVT drive
- Electric start
- Air cooled
- Intake manifold has single port
- 4-wire female plug and 2 single leads
- Also includes starter wire
- Does not include engine chain sprocket
- 1700 rpm idle speed
- Uses NGK 4549 / CR7HSA plug
- Should be used with 91 or higher octane gas
- Tao Tao OE engine
- 157QMJ
Engines can only be shipped standard shipping and only to the lower 48 states. Returned engines are subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be in new, saleable, un-installed condition and returned in the original packaging.
Engines are shipped with motor assembly oil which must be drained first and then filled with conventional 15w40 oil.
Known to fit Tao Tao 4Fun, Arrow and Targa 150cc go-karts. Fits many other makes and models too. If you have any questions, please contact us before ordering.
